Health and Security

The safety of our students is of the utmost importance and first priority for us. MLZS has security guards who do not allow any visitors without prior appointment. The entire school premises are continuously monitored through CCTV cameras. The school is outfitted with new safety elements like Cameras at entrances and hideout areas, Fire Alarms, monitoring devices to keep students, faculty and staff in a protected environment. At MLZS, the well being of students is of great importance to us.

An onsite trained and qualified nurse is available to manage the emergencies that may arise during the school hours. The infirmary is equipped with the basic First Aid facilities and Medicines to address the health needs of learners in our school.

Guidance to Parents

The school will not be held responsible for any injury suffered by a student or for his or her loss of life during activities such as games, sports, gymnastics, swimming, sailing or mountaineering expeditions and camping etc.

All the students are expected to attend school on Opening day after every vacation. Those absent because of sickness must present a Medical Certificate before they join the class.

A child returning to school after suffering from Infectious or Contagious diseases should produce a Fitness Certificate from a doctor.

Students suffering from any one of the following diseases must observe the prescribed period of quarantine before returning to class.

  • Chicken Pox – till complete falling of scabs
  • Measles – 2 weeks after the rash disappears
  • Mumps – until the swelling subsides
  • Cholera – till the child is completely well
  • Whooping Cough – 6 weeks
  • Jaundice – 6 weeks

The school has a Two-Bedded Infirmary for First Aid to students during school hours. A nurse is on duty round the clock for the well being of children and staff.
