Composite Lab
Our Composite Science Lab is a capacious room which caters to the experimental minds of all our students up to Middle School. Laboratory Activities and Experiments engage student’s mind which helps them to acquire skills, knowledge and confidence. The laboratory is equipped with the latest equipment as per CBSE curriculum where students carry out experiments in an Innovative and Inspiring environment and Learn by Doing. The Lab is equipped to handle all the needs of Primary and Middle School Students and engages them into Experimental learning from an early age. OLab work helps in boosting up the interest of students in different experiments and the students are able to gain firsthand knowledge and appreciate various scientific concepts by Hands-on learning. Labwork brings clarity in the mind of the students regarding the basic concept of the subject. Students understand the difference between theory and application and it helps them in improvising their approach towards the subject.
Physics Lab
The School supports a sophisticated, state of the art Physics Laboratory
equipped with Scientific and Modern tools required to carry out Science
Experiments included in the curriculum. Children learn the concepts of
Theoretical Physics in their respective classrooms and come to the
Physics Lab to carry out the Experimental Physics based on their
classroom concepts.
As we know Physics is a branch of Science, of which Experimentation is an
integral part.Physics being a vast subject engulfing a myriad of topics
like Matter, Energy, Forces, Heat,Light, Sound, Electricity, and
Structure of an Atom at the school level, a student is taught the
fundamentals of all these disciplines. In each of these disciplines
there are a multitude of experiments to be performed at the school
level.
Our Physics lab has a variety of experimental instruments ranging from
simple ones like magnets, pulleys, pendulums, inclined planes, heat
lamps, beakers, lenses, glasses, tuning forks, item scales etc to
sophisticated ones like spectroscopes, microscopes, electromagnets,
voltammeter, potentiometer, etc.
The Physics lab is designed to aid the students in establishing the
relevance of theories. It brings clarity in the mind of the students
regarding the basic concept of the subject. Students understand the
difference between theory and application and it helps them in
improvising their approach towards the subject.Experiments carried out
in Physics Lab helps students in learning how to be patient and careful
while taking observation and hitherto calculating inference and can
enhance their interest further in the field of research.
Chemistry Lab
The School has a fully-furnished modern Chemistry Lab equipped with
various Chemical Apparatus and Compounds required for curriculum-based
Chemical Reactions and Experiments. Use of different Lab apparatus in a
practical way, understanding the different compounds and their functions
properly, learning Reactions and its products, the precaution of using
acid and base, the exact way of using catalysts, are some of the things
that every student learns from the use of Chemistry Lab.
Chemistry holds great importance in life, hence it is very important for
the student to understand lab work. A student can easily develop his
ability to understand chemical experiments by experience. Lab work helps
in boosting up the interest in different experiments, understanding how
to demonstrate experiments in a proper way and understanding the exact
relation with biology.
Computer Lab
The school has a state of the art Computer Lab equipped with the most
modern and advanced computers and laptops to create inclusive,
structured learning environments where students can prepare for a

programming-related subjects.
Computer labs provide the time and space to develop skills not directly
related to classroom curriculum. These skills can be first learned in
the lab, then mastered through an ongoing application at home and in the
classroom. They’re also designed to facilitate a myriad of
learning activities like solo learning, testing, and collaborative group
work.
Biology Lab
MLZS Barh has a well-equipped, modern and sophisticated Biology
Lab designed with the objective to make the students learn with
a hands-on approach. ‘Learning by Doing’ being our
motto, the laboratory provides the students with all sorts of
facilities, ranging from specimens to innovative smart boards.
The laboratory is quite spacious and is creatively decorated for
the students. We have permanent anatomical slides of plants and
Museum Specimens of animals. The lab also consists of simple and
compound microscopes for the students to focus and study slides.
Also, the laboratory holds a variety of apparatus for
physiological and ecological experiments, like water bath, oven
and Digital PH Meter. The laboratory is well supplied with
chemicals, and equipped abundantly with thermometers and other
apparatus for students to carry out their experiments. Besides
the aforesaid the laboratory also has charts, models and
specimens meant for demonstrations.
Through experiments, students are able to gain firsthand
knowledge and appreciate various concepts of biology. The
laboratory apparatus are high-powered, extremely expensive, and
sensitive pieces of equipment that can make even the smallest
part of a single cell seem clear. The interactive board
connected to a computer system and projector makes the biology
lessons more effective and interesting. In the biology lab, the
students study detailed structures, morphological, histological
and physiological aspects of plants and animals. Study of slides
under the microscopes or studying the museum specimens kindles a
natural curiosity towards Nature and instils a joy of learning
the flora & fauna around us.
Maths Lab
The Mathematics Lab is a place where anybody can experiment and explore patterns and ideas. The activities of Math Lab help students to visualize, manipulate and reason. They provide opportunity to make conjectures and test them, and to generalize observed patterns. Our lab is equipped with all the pieces of equipment which aid in learning in an innovative and fun environment. The activities create interest among students or in anybody who wants to explore, and test some of their ideas, beliefs about mathematics. Social Science Lab
The school hosts a well-equipped Social Science lab to give the
students a comprehensive insight into the study of the
Geographical World. The lab is set up for the students to learn
Geography in a very practical manner through numerous Charts,
Models, Globes, Blackboard Maps of India and the World,
Flashcards and Compasses. Students visit the lab to understand
the various topographies, which creates more interest in the
learning process. Social science lab help in the proper learning
and functioning of the Social Sciences among the students.
